Love God.
Love People.
Welcome To Branches

We want to know Jesus. We want to see new life — in us, in our friends, and in people who have never known faith or have been hurt by the church. We are after a community of welcome and laughter, of faith and hope and love, of friends and family, justice and changed lives. We can't change your life, but we know who can.

We want to be a people where the homeless know they can find food, the broken can find healing, and the rejected feel at home. Where one group is showing up for those caught in addiction and another is training teachers on the other side of the world. Small things. Ordinary people. Extraordinary love.

We know no church lives up to this all the time — including us. But we refuse to give up. He is the Vine; we are the Branches.

What We Believe

We have chosen the Apostles' Creed to define the essentials of our belief. Rooted in the witness of those who walked with Jesus, this Creed has anchored the church for centuries — and it anchors us today. It gives us a shared foundation for what we believe about who Jesus is, and what God has done in history.
But we hold it with open hands. Creeds, by their nature, tend to draw boundary lines — defining who is in and who is out. What they often can't capture is the living center: Jesus himself. This Creed says nothing of love, nothing of transformation, nothing of the Holy Spirit's present work of healing broken people and making them whole. It is a skeleton, not a body. We are grateful for the bones, but we are after the life.
So we recite this Creed as a starting point, not a finish line. We believe these things — and we believe Jesus is still actively at work in ways no creed can fully contain.

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.¹
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.

From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic² church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

¹ This phrase is absent from many early manuscripts and has been interpreted various ways throughout church history. We understand it to mean that Jesus fully entered into human suffering and death — there is no depth He has not reached.

² This does not refer to a denomination, but to the universal community of all who follow Jesus across every time and place.

Our Core Values

We believe the style of our worship, the charisma of our pastor, the color of our skin — none of it matters much in light of what actually does:

1) We keep Jesus at the center. Every decision, every disagreement, every gathering runs through one question: does this look like Jesus? He is not our mascot or our method — He is the point.

2) We love one another with generosity and kindness. We are committed to being a community where people feel genuinely seen, cared for, and welcomed — not just on Sundays.

3) We extend that same love outward. Those outside our doors deserve the same dignity, generosity, and welcome we give each other. We don't hoard what God has given us.

Walking

Kidz & Youth Ministries

Children and youth are our present and our future. For that reason, they are a priority as we walk hand in hand with parents to share the extravagant love God has for these kids.

Branches Kidz (Infants – 6th Grade) We want every child to know they are loved by God and by this community. Kids join us at the start of service for worship, then are released to Branches Kidz where they are taught and cared for in an age-appropriate environment.

Youth (7th Grade & Up) Our youth worship alongside the full congregation on Sundays. We believe there is something powerful about generations gathered together around Jesus — and our youth are not the future of this church, they are a part of it right now.

We Serve

Every member is a minister looking for their place to help others.  Someone, somewhere is waiting for you to help them.
