“What should Christians Wear Part 2?” (7/26)

Our differences are extreme.  We are divided on  masks, BLM, school’s opening, social distancing, health or economic health, marriage disputes, and on and on and on.  But, but as a follower of Jesus it’s not where you stand, it’s your stance.

“What should Christians wear?” (7/19)

How can the public tell if you follow Jesus or not?

This is something that followers of Jesus can not be confused on. John 13:34

“If you Follow Jesus you may get Ugly Feet.” (7/12)

“Love your neighbor”.  As Mother Theresa said, “I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt. Only more love.”  Really? Let’s look at it together.

“A 1st Grade Teacher Teaching on being Teachable.” (7/5)

Are you reading the Word of God more than the News? As Followers of Jesus, we look at things differently when it comes to Who our leader is.  Mrs. Stephany Rose, elementary teacher, shares her 5 steps of learning.

“When Following Jesus makes you look Crazy.” (6/28)

People from many countries thought him foolish. Dr. Moffat Zimba shares his journey of following Jesus as a young man learning to read and write in the dirt of Zambia, to college in Australia, on to  Southern California for his doctorate, and then leaving the American dream to continue following Jesus back to Zambia to start the first private Christian university in all of Zambia.

Who We Want To Be

We want to know Jesus. We want to see a new life in us, our friends, and in people who have never had a faith or have been hurt by the church. We want to be a people of welcome and laughter, of faith and hope and love, friends and family, justice and changed lives. We can’t change your life, but we know who can. We want to be a people where the homeless know they can find food, the broken can find healing, and the rejected feel at home. It’s where one group is working to care for local drug addicts and another is training teachers in another country. We know that no church is like this all the time, including us. But we refuse to give up. He is the Vine; we want to be His Branches.
